During my time as Marketing Captain, I had to manage and promote our brand via social media. I had to ensure we had a clear and visible brand with our digital media presence. I had to retain our integrity with our posts and updates. Because of the successful management of our social media digital presence, I was able to increase our occupancy by 7%. 

I have 3+ years of experience working with various leasing management software systems such as RealPage OneSite, Yardi, Property Solutions and ResNexus. We had to input relevant information that was necessary to help residents find their perfect home and keep the information up-to-date so that we can pull reports to cater marketing efforts to specific demographics and employers. 

As part of my marketing duties, I had to create and distribute monthly newsletters for our community. On top of being active in the Houston community, I had to remain knowledgeable of events occuring in the local neighborhood. Once the newsletter was created, I had to promote the events to get our residents involved. 

Working in the leasing industry, I was tasked with residents retention events. In conjunction with the newsletter, I promoted our monthly resident events. I organized events ranging from pool parties to off-site social events. Most of the feedback I got from our residents was extremely positive and it did increase our renewal rate by 15%. Our residents felt like their apartment community was fun and really cared about them. We also organized various donation drives and volunteer events.
